Mauritius- a paradise in the Indian Ocean?

Mauritius is amongst one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Indian Ocean. So, if you plan a holiday be sure to include Mauritius among the other places you want to visit. Mauritius is a tropical island found close to other neighbouring islands such as Reunion and Rodrigues. Its white sandy beaches along with its turquoise lagoons offer an unforgettable moment to those who come to the island.

As such, Grand Baie is considered as one of the major tourism platforms of Mauritius. Those who come to the island do not miss the opportunity to stay or have a visit there. The place is packed with all the attractions most tourists would love. These include hotels, restaurants, pubs, discotheques and shops among others. For those who simply love the sea, all sorts of activities have been carefully designed to meet their needs. Activities range from snorkeling to submarine ventures. In brief, Grand Baie is one of the best places to go in Mauritius if you want a maximum of fun. Even locals make the drive to Grand Baie if they want to enjoy the various nightlife activities.

Often referred to as the paradise of the Indian Ocean, Mauritius lives up to its credentials. Probably the most important characteristic of Mauritius is its wonderful white sandy beaches and exceptional sea. What about the undersea life? The unique undersea life of Mauritius can make anyone wonder if visited. In fact, at places such as Blue Bay and Belle Mare, the aquatic life is preserved by encouraging the growth of corals. This in turn attracts thousands of other marine creatures to build a home resulting in a rich aquatic environment. Additionally, gradually, the tourism platforms have been diversified throughout the whole island. Other places growing in fame in Mauritius are Flic en Flac, Belle Mare and Mahebourg among others.

Moreover, the southern part of Mauritius is as well interesting as the famous northern part. You will be able to come across hotels such as Shandrani, Berjaya le Morne, Le Telfair and The Indian Resort among others. Indian Resort is considered as the biggest hotel in the Indian Ocean. It’s therefore a fact to be proud of for Mauritius and is as well a good means to encourage more and more tourists to visit the island. Most tourists who come to Mauritius get an unmatchable service right from the moment they step out from the airport. Their respective hotels send their coaches to transport the visitors to their respective hotels. Firms such as White Sand Tours and Mauritours operate to and from hotels to the airport.

During their stay at the hotels in Mauritius, tourists get a royal service. All their needs are looked after so that they live an unforgettable moment and want to come back another time. The economy of Mauritius is partly based on tourism. So, pleasing the customer well will definitely be an advantage for the constitution in terms of foreign currency and equally for all the locals.
