Making differences between the occult sciences

Occultism may bring along various type of magical practice; every magical type will come along with its own conspiracy theories because there are legends that are used as the main basis for these theories. One can become accustomed to the existence of two different types of magic, namely the folk magic and the ceremonial magic that is likely to be used for higher purposes that may involve higher levels of knowledge too. The low magic is the one that comes in the case of the witch’s prayer; it is usually regarded as the most popular form of magic and it also has its own deep roots that connect it with the ancient Paganism.

All the folk magic users are likely to use the visualization and meditative techniques in order to create the spells; the occult enchantments have been used in order to focus one’s mind, attention and emotional life. The energy will be directed in order for the witch to achieve the necessary results; the traditional witch may also ask for the positive help that can be brought by the friendly spirits. Usually, these friendly spirits are evoked in order to provide the witch with their assistance; for instance, the witch can address the spirit guides in order to achieve personal goals.

To the uninitiated public, every type of witchcraft is likely to be regarded as belonging to the occult world; but the occultism is perceived as a threatening realm that comes along with conspiracy theories that are menacing the entire universe. Usually, these theories are not used in order to predict positive events; on the contrary, they predict bad things to happen and magic can be used in order to express the existence of these future events that may influence the world in an irreversible manner. Magic is actually perceived as something coming from the supernatural world; in reality, this magic is not a supernatural force because all its features are likely to work within the existing physical world. Every piece of witchcraft is obeying the laws of physics because it is a natural thing and not a supernatural one.

Other perspectives are to be used in order to try to fully understand the main features that are brought along by magic; for instance, you can perceive all these magical things in a whole different manner because the universe can be regarded as the direct creation of an exiting god. The universe can be regarded as something that has not been created by pure chance; on the contrary, you may choose to believe that the creator has handled the entire business when it comes to the creation of this present universe. Therefore, the entire universe has been created in a natural manner and this manner is not likely to transform the magic into something completely supernatural. Therefore, magic is to be regarded a quite natural process that is not likely to be understood by using the modern means.

Even the witches are keen on believing that the scientific understanding will eventually be expanded in order to take a closer look to the occult universe; the basic principles of witchcraft will be eventually understood and they will be appreciated by all the science community too. The conspiracy theories are likely to come as the direct results of this present misunderstanding because people are likely to rush into finding the most interesting theory on a particular matter that overwhelms them on a constant basis.

The ceremonial magic will bring along some different features because the basic principles are likely to differ from the ones that are to be found in the case of the traditional magic. This type of magic has led to the development of all the present occult societies that are practicing these rituals and ceremonials on a constant basis. The secret societies have thus been born because this type of magic is mainly a very ritualistic one that demands a full commitment to its basic practices. This magic is also ceremonial enough in order to own its rituals dating back in ancient years.

Therefore, the differences are to be made when it comes to understanding magic; for instance, the ceremonial type of magic is likely to enter an already altered state of mind and consciousness. The spell craft will be thus performed and there will be some changes forced on the universal and astral plane in order to achieve the desired goals. Even the physical plane will be affected by the spell that can provide the practitioner with the ability to use the astral travels in order to gain the necessary knowledge. The practitioner will also be able to communicate with higher spirits in order to receive their advice and these powerful entities are usually perceived as very dangerous ones that are not accessed by the traditional witches.
