Copy Movies To Iphone

At this point it's not possible to download movies directly to your Iphone or copy them to Iphone directly from DVD etc, so you will need to first transfer them onto your computer to get them ready. To find out more about copying movies to Iphone, check out the rest of this article.

Normal DVDs are not in the correct format to copy over to your Ipod, so they will need to be converted to MP4 before you can make the transfer. This is best done by saving the DVDs to your hard drive in MP4 format.

In order to make the transfer from DVD to your Iphone, you'll need a computer, a connecting lead between the computer and the Iphone, and some “ripping” software to rip the movies from the DVD and save them to your hard drive. Most ripping software can convert files to MP4 at the same time as saving the files.

As soon as the files are on the computer and in the correct format, you are then ready to start copying them to your Iphone. From there, all you need to do is scan the files into Itunes, and then they should be automatically transferred over whenever you next sync the Iphone with Itunes.

All this assumes that you already own the movies you want to transfer on DVD. If you don't however, there are still a couple of alternatives. These days on the internet if you know where to look you can find some very reliable download sites, that will give you access to an unlimited about of files for a one off price. As well as movies, you can also get games and music for your Iphone. Sites like this offer excellent value for money.

They aren't to be confused however with the shady peer to peer sites or torrent sites which many people use for their downloads-sites like this are illegal and will probably give you some viruses too. Sites like this are full of viruses and malware etc, so if you have ever used one it's a good idea to get your antivirus updated and to run a full check on your computer.
