Are you learning Spanish the right way?

Anyone who wishes to learn to speak Spanish language should be aware of some of the key issues related to it. Some people must have joined the language learning courses and not being satisfied with the teaching , mush have dropped the idea of learning Spanish. While still others are there who must have just joined the Spanish language learning course or a half way through it. All those who want to learn Spanish and not experience the bitter side should take note of the following points:
The Teacher : The teacher should be qualified, and if possible certified by an organization of repute. If the teacher's Spanish is bad, one cannot expect the student s to be perfect and fluent at Spanish.
Time devoted to learn Spanish: If you devote just 1-1.5 hour per day it is not going to be sufficient. Just remember the time you took to start speaking your mother tongue fluently and then only consider the duration in which you may possibly start speaking Spanish.
Batch size: After joining a course to learn Spanish, batch size is the crucial issue. In a language learning course the size of the batch is a critical factor. The more the number of students, less is the personal attention being given to the students. Try to know the faculty student ratio in any institute you have already joined or thinking of joining
The teaching methodology : The teaching methodology should be participative. The teacher is a teacher because he/ she knows Spanish perfectly. In fact when it comes to teaching Spanish or any other foreign language the teacher should be able to elicit answers and response from the students and that too in Spanish. One has to check out the teaching methodology before joining any institute or college to learn to speak Spanish.
Grammar: Usually for most, Grammar is the most boring part of learning a foreign language. Grammar is just like play back music. Without play back music lyrics don't have that impact on the audience. If your grammar principles are clear, your efficiency at leaning Spanish will be accelerated.
Group Activities and Presentations: The inclusion of group activities and presentation in Spanish is to be inspected. If Spanish is made compulsory medium of instruction at the institute you have joined, and if your fellow classmates or colleagues interact with you in Spanish only then you are leaning the Spanish the right way.
The improvement : At the end of the day, week and the year one has to look at profit made over the investment made on joining the course. One has also to know that his Spanish is improved or not.
